  is a purge feature to ensure there is airflow through the tip to become a charged plasma stream and benefit from clean cuts.
  The postflow is mainly for cooling. The longer you cut at high amperage on thicker metal, the more return flow is needed to dissipate the heat. (Recommended air pressure: 58-72 PSI.)
